I don’t often shop at Forever 21. Walking in there makes me feel both old and overstimulated. It’s such a sensory overload it’s like my eyes don’t know where to focus. But if I can take a breath and try to tackle one section at a time, there are some great things to be found. Those great things are often nestled in between some truly heinous things, and that’s the part that makes me feel old. “What are these kids today wearing?” may have left my lips. Followed swiftly by me shouting at them to get off my lawn.
