Pattern mixing has been all over the fashion blogs I read for the last year, and each time the blogger talks about it like it was such a stretch. I don’t know, maybe my taste will prove a little nuts, but mixing patterns and untraditional colors suits me just fine. Not that black and white stripes with black and white polka dots is much of a stretch either, but if you’re a little shy about pattern this is a great way to start.

I’m all for bright colors and wearing odd ball things, but pattern mixing is something that intimidates me. I was always told to NEVER EVER pattern mix and it’s hard for me to get in the mindset that it’s ok, but I love it on all of the bloggers that I’ve seen including yours!
