Even before Joan from Mad Men came along to be my style icon, I was a fan of the ‘naughty secretary’ look. Really, it’s just that a pencil skirt is a curves best friend. This is my trusty gray pencil skirt, indestructible and as old as my marriage, and it has never let me down once. Normally I wear it with a top that has a fuller silhouette, but the colors looked so great together I decided to be a little bolder. And I loved the results. This outfit made me feel fantastic.

I have a stick figure – no noticible curves, except my tush, and my pencil skirt is my most flattering piece in my wardrobe – there is nothing that flatters a figure better then a skirt that fits like a glove. Love the blog and love the look!
